be a part of our community
At Western Hills Christian Church we believe that great things happen when people come together and do life with each other. This is so important to us that we have created programs for people to easily get involved in the church.
LifeGroups are small gatherings that focus on fellowship and growing in faith and knowledge. They are hosted in homes, as well as at the church building. These small groups provide a more relaxed setting and facilitate interaction.
We currently have four LifeGroups that meet around Lawton. All of our groups are "open", meaning anyone can visit and join at any time. (Contact the church office for addresses.)
SW Lee - 5pm Sundays, hosts Ted & Marilyn Janosko
NW Meadowbrook - 6pm Sundays, hosts Eddie & Teddy Worthington
SW Deyo Landing - 6pm Mondays, hosts Dave & Debbie Menge
NE Quail Creek - 6pm every other Tuesday, hosts Charles & Dianna Morey
Moms snd Kids
Calling all moms...you are invited to our Wednesday morning moms group. We meet at 9:30 at the church. Bring your kids and they can play while you enjoy some adult conversation.
Who doesn't like to eat?
Every Wednesday, we get together to share a meal and get to know each other before our midweek programs. The meals are free, and all are welcome!
Join us from 530pm to 630pm.
Each Wednesday, a small group of women gather to enjoy each other's company and sew quilts that they give out at retirement homes each Christmas. Even if you don't know how to quilt, they'd love to have you join them on Wednesday mornings at 9am in the small kitchen.
The hikers are very active, and can frequently be found in the Wichita Mountains National Wildlife Refuge, making tracks in the dust. Led by Eddie and Teddy Worthington. The hikers have a lot of fun.
Whether you're a competitive dancer or your haven't square danced since 4th grade gym, you're invited to join us Tuesdays at 630pm. We'll help you get up to speed, and in the mean time, you can get to know other great people!
